A gem in the heart of Tuscany!

Set in the heart of Tuscany, along the wine road which leads to Arezzo, in perfect harmony with the surrounding countryside of vineyards, olive groves, ancient hamlets and churches, Villa La Grotta is a typical Tuscan manor house dated   late ‘700, perfectly restored and opened to welcome guests, who wish to taste the genuine hospitality of our territory. Its strategic position allows daily escapes to Siena, Arezzo, Florence and numerous other minor towns of cultural interest. It is very easy to reach either by car or by public services: both the close train stations of Arezzo and Montevarchi and the “Valdarno” A1 Motorway exit allow to reach us shortly.

Villa La Grotta is  composed of  the main villa with six apartments and three double rooms and the annexed farmhouse with other two apartments. All the rooms and apartments, different in size and location, attentively furnished in a Tuscan classic style (some with beautiful open fire-places) are equipped with direct dial telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi high speed internet connection. The apartments have a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom linen and are equipped with all kitchen utensils.

Clients can enjoy our outdoor swimming pool  and by the end of 2008 the wellness center which will rise next to it. Mountain-bikes hire is available on the premises to discover  the numerous CAI paths. Our spacious garden, enriched by the swimming pool and  dominated by a pine- and cedarwood, together with the ample indoor rooms, make it the ideal spot for special events, such as business meetings, banquets, wedding receptions …successfully carried out by the high professional  multilingual staff.

Weddings are still one of the magic things in our lives and we wish your special day to be a fairytale day to be remember for all your life. That is why we are ready to assist you completely in your wedding organization, in order to make all your dream become true.

For those who wish to deeply live the Tuscan countryside: riding track, wine cellars and  olive mills  within short distance. We also offer the opportunity to visit a biological farm, very well known for its dairying products; clients will be driven through the grazing with an electric jeep, stopped at the little cows nursery and if they wish they can even assist to the  milking. To follow a tasteful cheese tasting with jams. A paradise … not only for children.  For those who are fashion lovers several fashion outlets are available nearby: Prada, Foiano della Chiana, The Mall, Dolce & Gabbana. Not to forget the Antique Fair in Arezzo, the most ancient and famous one  in Italy, with more tha 500 exhibitors. It take place every first Saturday and  Sunday of each month.

Our staff will be delighted to organize for you  daily trips and excursions to the main Tuscan cities arranging for you either a rental car or a private car and driver.
