Here, Venice has been a whirlwind of sailors, merchants and galleys for centuries; now, from the windows of Hotel Bucintoro, you can watch the peaceful gondolas, water shuttle and tope (typical work boats) glide by. Each room, junior suite and suite at the hotel have the name of a historic sail boat while the furniture and spaces are inspired by great sailboats. Elegant wood paneling, brass, appliqué with authentic nautical figures and lamps that seem to be oil burning: every detail was studied to evoke the charm of the ships of the past.
