There is excellent riding, cycling and walking in the hills nearby, and cycles can be hired in several local villages. There are also two 18-hole golf courses within easy reach. To the south is the Camargue region, renowned for its fighting bulls, white horses and flamingoes, and an important nature reserve for ornithologists.
