The Hotel Poseidon has forty-eight rooms and four suites, all with private terraces, most of them overlooking the bay of Positano and some with a garden view. The rooms are finely furnished and have air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, direct telephone lines and free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Poseidon has direct access to the road, but once there you can forget your car as the center of the old town and the beach are within easy walking distance. If you just want to take in the beauty of Positano, you can do so whenever you wish, from the terraces of the rooms, or from the swimming pool. Enjoy to the full the charm of the place, that has attracted for over a hundred years, and still does, many artists from all over the world. For these people and for the lovers of art, the Poseidon often organizes art shows and retrospectives.

Campania (Campania felix) is the region where Positano is situated. It is one of the richest in Italy as far as the art of cooking is concerned because of its farming and fishing products, skilfully enhanced and combined. That is why the Neapolitan cuisine has a leading role in the Italian culinary tradition. The restaurant of the Poseidon, "Il Tridente" continuously tries to respect this tradition, by favouring pasta, fresh vegetables and fish. The restaurant also has a Vegetarian and Vegan menu and a variety of gluten-ree products are available as well.  Also available on various nights is their Neopolitan Pizza cooked in the outdoor wood oven. The decor and the atmosphere of the indoor dining area are in total harmony with the rest of the hotel. Antique terracotta floors, walnut fixtures and wrought iron window frames, add warmth to the white walls and arches.

The bar is positioned in a central area. The main living room with a fireplace is to one side. Here stands the grand piano, waiting to be played by some talented or not so talented guest! On the other side of the main bar is a small, intimate area with a fireplace, TV and VHS. On the terrace outside, amidst trees and flowers, is the swimming pool (10 mt x 5 mt.). The situation of these areas creates a cosy and communal atmosphere which is appreciated and frequented by the clients. In fact, it is in this area where cocktail parties, art exhibitions and other various events take place.

The Beauty Center of Hotel Poseidon (open to non-staying guests as well) is able to provide a wide range of treatments, both for body and face, which include: Anti-aging Facials, manicures, pedicures, Couples massages and a Turkish Bath.
