A quiet plaza, hidden among the alleys leading to the Trevi Fountain in the heart of Rome. A magical residence from the fifteenth century, rich in history. It’s Palazzo Scanderbeg, the new and exclusive palace for the guests who choose to visit the Eternal city.

The Prince George Castriot ( 1405-1468), known as Scanderbeg, was an Albanian nobleman, skilled general and diplomat. He is Albania’s greatest national hero and his deeds inspired Vivaldi who directed the opera “Scanderbeg” in 1716.

Palazzo Scanderbeg dates from the 15th centruy and became Scanderbeg’s residence in 1466. The Palace was completely refurbished in 1843 as we can read from the inscription above the building. Situated in the heart of the city of Rome, Palazzo Scanderbeg has now been restored keeping its historical charm with a touch of modern style.

Once entered the Palace, you will encounter the concergierie, able to assist you 24/7. You will be greeted in an elegant foyer, the library room, that faces the courtyard on one side and the plaza on the other, a perfect spot for enjoyable reading in front of the fireplace. While tasting a canapè and sipping some prosecco, our Guest Relations Agent will check you in and guide you to your apartment.

Every apartment is different from the other, each has unique peculiarities designed to create a cozy and warm stay. The historic charm of the location together with the modern manifacture style coexist to establish a perfect harmony.

Discover our Master Suites: the three most important apartments of our Palace, unique in their gender. During your stay, our Butler is at your complete disposal, please do not hesitate to ask him to take care of you and your loved ones. He will shine your shoes, run errands and pack your bags.

Client Comments

Palazzo Scanderbeg is a huge hit. Perfect set up for a two couple or family situation. Great location and awesome boutique hotel. Steve and his mom can’t believe how great it is (so roomy with private rooms and en-suite bathrooms) and we love the little balcony. Location by Trevi Fountain is amazing. Knocked it out of the park, Thanks!!!!
