This charming 17th century three bedroom cottage is ideally located in one of the most
picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants,
this cottage is on Clapton Row - a quiet street and offers both privacy and convenience.
Furnished with antiques and equipped to the very highest standard including dishwasher,
microwave, washer & dryer, color satellite TV and VCR, and CD player, guests will find
this a perfect base for touring the area.
Only 1½ hours by car from London, Bourton-on-the-Water is a ten minute drive from Moreton
in Marsh and its main line train station (taxi service available). Also nearby are
Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham,
Bath and Oxford, all served by local buses from Bourton. Whether your interest is gardens,
architecture, history or just enjoying the countryside, there will be more than enough to
keep visitors busy during their stay. Within a 15 mile radius, there are numerous five
star restaurants for elegant dining options and of course many pubs and inns for more
casual meals.
The cottage consists of a ground floor with beamed living room & dining room,
fireplace, full kitchen, full bathroom with shower cubicle, 2nd floor with a queen
bedroom, another bedroom with 2 twin beds, full bath & shower and a the top floor has
a beamed cloped ceiling with a small sitting room, room with 2 twin beds, & small half
bath.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Balance due 90 days prior
to arrival. Travel Insurance is strongly advised as reservations cannot be
cancelled after confirmation.

Ceilings throughout the cottage are beamed and in a few places only have a six foot
clearance. Most of the cottage has a 6'2" clearance. One twin bedded room is on the
top floor with sloping ceiling and is reached by a very steep narrow stair unsuitable for
the infirm.
