After living in London for nine years, interspersed with frequent stays in Paris, Bonnie Palutke, owner of Small & Elegant Hotels, moved to New York City. She knew London and Paris like the back of her hand, having managed and marketed several small luxury hotels in London during her years there, and decided to parlay her knowledgeable background into a new career in 1996- a hotel booking service to represent small luxury hotels with character and personality for all 26 locations.
