The Villa dei Bosconi, a new hotel located in a splendid position just
at the beginning of "Bosconi area" of the hills of Fiesole, is totally immersed
in this magnificent countryside. Despite being in an oasis of tranquillity, the hotel is
only 1 km from Fiesole and 8 km from Florence which can be easily reached by public
transport (the no. 7 bus leaves for the Florence railway station every 20 minutes ). Ideal
for those who travel by car, it also offers a large free parking area. The comfortable
rooms are extremely bright, offer amenities such as private bath with shower or bath tub,
heated towel rail and hair dryer, satellite color TV, mini-bar, desk space, direct line
telephone with plug for PC Internet link, individually controlled air conditioning, and as
well as a wonderful view they also have either a terrace or direct access to the garden.
Disabled and non smoking rooms are available on request. The hotel is enhanced by a new
swimming pool with Jacuzzi, large gardens and a terrace overlooking Florence and the
surrounding hills where guests can sit outside at tables and enjoy a drink from our bar
service.
The countryside round about also offers the chance for pleasant walks as well as more
demanding trekking and mountain bike rides. The Villa dei Bosconi
represents the ideal departure spot for oeno gastronomic tours as there are a wide array
of excellent restaurants in this area and numerous local farms also sell typical
home-grown produce.
