Our favorite arrondissement in Paris with wide tree lined boulevards, pavement cafes, lively street market, multiplex cinema, mouth watering food shops and irresistible boutiques.  These are the old haunts of Picasso and Hemingway.  The famous Le Flore and Les Deux Magots cafes are still doing a thriving business on the nearby Boulevard Saint Germain.  The banks of the Seine, the Latin Quarter, Musee D'Orsay, Norte Dame, the Louvre and Luxembourg, arguably the most beautiful park in Paris, are all within walking distance.  Private parking 5 minutes walk.

Our spacious 1400 square foot apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a handsome 19th Century Haussmann style freestone building with elevator, digicode security, courtyard concierge.  Floor to ceiling windows, high ceilings, decorative moldings Venetian chandeliers, polished parquet floors, marble fireplace and gilt-edged mirrors are trademarks of this splendid apartment.  The double sized living room is elegantly furnished with a classic, aristocratic style with comfortable sofa, arm chairs, desk, stereo, and TV/VCR.  Separate dining room with pretty drapes, seating for 6, custom built-in cabinets, side board fireplace.  Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds "kissed together" to offer king size accommodation.  Bedroom 2 has a good quality trundle bed that sleeps 2.  Bedroom 3 has a single bed.  Large modern bathroom with double vanity, tub and shower attachment.  Separate wash closet.  Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.  Laundry room with washer and dryer.   Gas central heat with individual controls.  All linens provided.   Restricted line telephone.  Maid service available.
