Agriturismo Montebelli Country Hotel
The Montebelli Country Hotel is located in the beautiful Maremma land in the Tuscany region. The building was constructed in the 13th century. It was first used as a mill, and later as an oil mill. It has been renovated and transformed it into a modern, functional hotel, respecting its original structural features and the surrounding environment. Montebelli farm extends over 104 hectares, characterized by hills and valleys, olive trees and vineyards, orchards and sunflowers, cypresses and secular oaks, lawns and Mediterranean vegetation, representing a wonderful perspective of the Tuscan countryside.
Very close to Montebelli, there are several attractions like Massa Marittima, Vetulonia, Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, destinations of Italian and International tourists. In about one hour it is also possible to reach the art cities of Siena and Pisa, or even spend a day to the Saturnia thermal baths, the Uccellina Park or to the Argentario seaside (Capalbio, Porto Ercole and Porto S.Stefano) and the Elba Island.
There are 19 bedrooms and 2 suites in the Montebelli Country Hotel, where our guests may relax in the peace of the Tuscany countryside. Each bedroom and suite is furnished in an elegant Italian fashion, with old Tuscan furniture and it is equipped with every comfort and service of a high standard hotel.
Montebelli Country Hotel offers a half-board service, comprised of breakfast and dinner.The breakfast, served at the patio, is in the buffet style, offering a large choice for all tastes, from healthy fruit, yogurt, cereals and honey to typical Tuscan bread and jam, up to appetizing scrambled eggs and delicious home made cakes and pies.The dinner is served at the restaurant, in a romantic candle lighting atmosphere. The cuisine is typical Tuscan with a touch of Neapolitan flavor. Every course is prepared with simplicity, because our guests usually desire to savor the genuineness of home tastes. Freshness and quality are the key ingredients of our dishes. For this reason we exclusively use our organic extra virgin olive oil and, depending on the season, vegetables and fruits of kitchen garden.The wine menu comprises Montebelli wines as well as famous labels from all over the world.
The Montebelli bar represents the meeting and social focal point of our guests.At the Montebelli bar it is possible to taste a very good Neapolitan espresso, have a fresh drink, an aperitif, or a great grappa from our winery after dinner, besides any kind of desired cocktail prepared by our barman...
At lunch time, rich salads and several house specialties from the “ a la carte” menu are possible to be prepared by our chef.
