History lovers will be delighted to learn that the apartment is located in a building listed as an historical monument, built in the 16th century, whose facade is dressed in a beautiful wooden porch on two levels. The building originally housed the College of Grassins, built in 1659, which experienced years of prestige throughout the 17th and 18th century. The college was closed down during the French Revolution to become a National Good and was transformed into homes to become the building that we know today.
The duplex apartment is accessed by the ground floor of the building. The entrance is protected by a door code.
Both bedrooms in the 760 square foot apartment overlook a quiet inner courtyard. There is also a third room that opens to the mezzanine and can easily be used as a third bedroom. The apartment has two bathrooms and will accommodate up to six people, making it the perfect apartment for a family
From the entrance hall you will enter the living room with tall ceilings. Here, you'll find a sofa, coffee table, chairs and TV with cable channels and a DVD player. The kitchen is accessible from the hall and open to the living room. A staircase leads to the second floor where you will find the master bedroom, a bathroom and the mezzanine space that overlooks the living room below. The master bedroom has two single beds that can be "kissed together" to form a queen size bed, a dresser and a hanging rail.
The room open space on the mezzanine features a double bed and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath, sink and toilet.
Back down on the main level you'll find the second bedroom with a double bed, a coffee table and a TV with DVD player (the TV can be used only to watch DVDs). You can store your clothes in the dresser.
This room has its own bathroom, small but functional with shower and sink. The separate toilet is located next to this room (the apartment has a toilet on each floor).
