The Aria Hotel Budapest is a luxury boutique hotel with an exquisite design inspired by music. To compliment the musical concept, master designer Zoltan Varro's vision was to simultaneously recreate the rich, lavish atmosphere of a historic Hungarian palace while also embracing visitors in the warmth and comfort of a private residence. Each of the four wings is dedicated to one of four major genres of music: Classical, Opera, Contemporary, and Jazz. Each room and suite features caricatures by internationally acclaimed artist Joseph Blecha to celebrate the world's greatest musical legends such as Maria Callas, Count Basie, Bob Dylan, James Brown and Hungary’s own Franz Liszt.
The Aria Hotel sits on a picturesque street next to the majestic Saint Stephen's Basilica in Budapest’s city centre on the Pest side of the Danube. With the river and the Chain Bridge just a short walk away, the Aria offers the ideal location to explore Budapest on foot, by tram or by bus. The area around the hotel offers pedestrian streets with numerous cafes, restaurants and terraces. The team behind the highly acclaimed Gerbeaud brand has created a unique array of culinary delights that will add some contemporary Hungarian flavor to your enjoyment the breathtaking views of Budapest in every direction. While our neighbor, the majestic St. Stephen’s Basilica is the hero of our year-round, indoor/outdoor roof top garden setting, it’s our trio of professionals - the bartender, the chef, and the pastry chef - who dream up combinations to impress even gourmand guests. Each cocktail is perfectly designed to complement the flavors from the forest wildlife and edible plants inspired Bar Menu featuring small plates and tastings offered from 5PM to Midnight. With an emphasis on superior ingredients, Aria guests will experience an indulgence of all the senses. Sample our Lunch menu, available from Noon to 6PM, with limited offerings such as; Cold Cuts Platter, Pappardelle, Roasted Duck Leg and Cheesecake. High Note SkyBar is open every day from Noon to Midnight.

Choose your groove, from the lively, glamorous retro bar to a quiet and romantic spot by the fireside lounge - or dine al fresco with cool drinks, hot jazz, and casual dining served on the garden terrace, weather permitting. Satchmo's Bar & Library are open daily from 11am to 11pm. Lunch or Dinner can be served both inside Satchmo's or outside on the terrace
THE MUSIC GARDEN
The stunning glass-enclosed courtyard is the heart of the hotel, where guests and non-residents can enjoy cocktails and refreshments while listening to musical entertainment. What makes the Music Garden courtyard such an architectural marvel is the one-of-a-kind glass enclosure, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside, allowing guests a clear view of the sky and stars above, while remaining climate-controlled for perfect comfort in any season. The first of its kind in Europe, this unique glass ceiling is exceptionally beautiful both for guests looking upward toward the hotel rooms or for guests looking down into the Music Garden from their private balconies, since there is no metal support to disrupt the view. Other unique features, such as the piano key floor tiles and the LED imaging screen, grace the Music Garden with a whimsical, yet sophisticated style.
