Borgo Castelvecchi is an historical residence in a fortified village, located in the heart of Chianti. This area offers excellent wine and fantastic ancient villages spread throughout the hills. This location is an excellent base for exploring Radda in Chianti and the surrounding province of Siena. Radda in Chianti is well located for exploring Florence, Siena and Arezzo, as well as favorites San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa and Volterra. The town of Radda in Chianti is located inside the ancient city walls, which have been partly preserved. Given its strategic importance, Radda in Chianti was provided with a defensive structure in brickwork by the Republic of Florence. The structure is still visible and demands particular attention from visitors.
Farmhouse Borgo Castelvecchi offers its guests a visit to the historic 1,000-year-old cellars, along with the best productions of Tuscan red wines, Chianti Classico DOCG Castelvecchi, and Lodolaio Reserve and olive oil produced in Chianti and grappa together with pinot grigio, pinot noir, chardonnay, prosecco, Raboso and Agricanto from the seals located in the areas most favorable to wine cultivation in northern Italy. You can also enjoy relaxing by the pool or treating yourself to an Ayurveda massage, aromatherapy massage, or sporting massage, provided by qualified staff.

The restaurant is characterized by a complex play of tiled archways and beams, typical of Tuscan architecture. Borgo Castelvecchi offers typical local cuisine, enriched by modified dishes using fresh local products and wines, depending on the season. Fixed and a la carte menus are available. At breakfast and dinner, the restaurant offers an extraordinary wealth of regional flavors and a culinary tradition deeply tied to the Chianti territory and authenticity of seasonal products. Small cooking classes can also be organized for traditional cuisine in the various areas of the oil mill in the Borgo Castelvecchi.

Rooms
The rooms are located in the rustic stone buildings surrounding the main square of the Borgo.
These rooms, now entirely renovated in the traditional style with visible ceiling beams and terracotta floors. The rooms all have a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and fridge. There is no minimum stay requirement and prices include a buffet breakfast service. More rooms are located in the elegant manor house of Borgo Castelvecchi, situated on the ground floor. The structure's location with access from the main gallery, décor including authentic furnishings, decorations, views over the park and the attention to detail, all help to enhance the value of the manor's spaces.
Apartments
The apartments have a one-week minimum stay (from Saturday to Saturday) for high season and 3 nights min stay with free arrival for low and medium season and are located both in the Borgo's farmhouses (for2/4/6 people), and on the second floor of the Villa (for 2/4 people), from where a spectacular view over the valley of Radda can be enjoyed. Apartments all include bed and kitchen linen, kitchenware and everything necessary to enjoy a totally independent holiday (separate heating). The structure resembles that of a typical Tuscan Borgo, spread out across multiple levels with large rooms, each including a fireplace and electric exhaust fan.
Materials used include typical handmade terracotta and stone, with visible beams and rafters, mainly authentic pieces from the original venues. Bathrooms all include hairdryer and shower box. All units include a dining room, kitchen, bathroom and one, two or three bedrooms. The décor of our apartments in Chianti is an "arte povera" (poor art) style, enriched by authentic elements from the 19th century, prints, furnishings and fittings, helping to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
