Arriving by Train
Santa Lucia Train Station is approximately 1 mile from the Hotel along the Grand Canal. The Hotel is easily reached by private water taxi at the approximate cost of € 55.00 (a 20 minute ride direct to the Hotel)or by public ferry transportation at the cost of € 3.10 per person (luggage is charged at € 3.10 per piece) a 30 minute ride, serviced by several ferry lines all year round. All services stop at San Zaccaria ferry terminal which is situated only a few metres from the Hotel.Public transportation tends to be quite crowded, especially during peak hours.
Arriving by Plane
VENICE (Marco Polo International Airport)
Marco Polo International Airport is approx. 7 miles from Venice.
The Hotel is easily reached by private water taxi at the approximate cost of € 80.00 it's a 25 minute scenic ride direct to the Hotel, or by the airport shuttle ferry service at the cost € 10.00 per person, the journey takes approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes with stops at the Islands of Murano and Lido before arriving at your final destination at St. Mark's Square.
From there it's a 5 minute walk to the Hotel.
Treviso Airport is approx. 17 miles from Venice. The Hotel can be reached by a Bus service which meets all principal flights. The service will arrive at Piazzale Roma (the main Car Park in Venice) where you can then catch the public Ferry line No. 51 or 1 to San Zaccaria ferry terminal situated only a few metres from the Hotel.
Arriving by Car
Garage's where you can park your vehicle are the Tronchetto and San Marco. We suggest the San Marco garage as reaching the Ferry terminal is easier. To reach the San Marco garage where a discount applies for all our Clients. As you approach the end of the Ponte della Liberta, the bridge linking Venice to the mainland, at the traffic lights follow the signs to Piazzale Roma where the garage is located. The Hotel can be reached by private water taxi in 20 minutes at an approximate cost of € 55.00 or by public ferry transportation at the cost of € 3.10 per person (luggage is charged at € 3.10 per piece) the journey takes approx. 30 minutes and is serviced by several ferry lines all year round. All services stop at San Zaccaria ferry terminal which is situated only a few metres from the Hotel.
To reach the Tronchetto garage: As you approach the end of the Ponte della Libertà, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the signs to the Tronchetto Island. The Hotel is approx. 1.5 miles away and can be reached by private water taxi at the approximate cost of € 55.00 (a 20 minute ride direct to the Hotel). Or by public ferry transportation at the cost of € 3.10 per person, a 35 minute ride serviced by the 82 line which stops at the San Zaccaria ferry terminal situated only a few metres from the Hotel.
Transfers: from the airport to the Hotel there are different options.
• From the airport pier, about 5-6 minutes’ walk away from the arrivals line you can take:
• Public boat called Alilaguna in 1 hour and 10 minutes you’ll arrive at San Marco square about 4 minutes’ walk to the hotel. Cost Euro 15,00 per person.
• Private taxi boat need about 30 minutes. Cost for 2 persons with luggage is about Euro 110,00.
The hotel can also organize a private arrival transfer, with an assistant wait for the guests at the arrivals line, and transfer them to the Hotel with car and private boat, cost is of Euro 190,00 for 2 persons with 4 – 6 luggage (if your arrival time is between 09:00 a.m. and 07:00 p.m.). To confirm the private arrival transfer we need a credit card details to guarantee, flight number and arrival time. Payment has to be made directly in hotel by cash (not credit cards). Then we can arrange for a private water taxi to take the guests to the cruise terminal on the day of departure. The cost is approximately Euro 80,00 to be paid cash to the taxi driver. The hotel can book the taxi the same morning. (Rates correct as of September 2013.)
