VERY SPECIAL!!
The Cadogan Hotel is a stylish late Edwardian townhouse located on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge. The Cadogan was once the home of Lillie Langtry and has a fabulous history. Consider room 118, scene of the arrest of Oscar Wilde, the Irish playwright. Or consider the Edward VII Suite, renamed to celebrate the future King of Englands liaisons with his close friend, the actress Lillie Langtry. Today, and for the past 100 years, it has been a welcoming haven for discerning visitors. The Cadogan enjoys a desirable location within easy walking distance of the famous Harrods and Harvey Nichols stores directly linked by tube to the wonderful shops and stores of the West End. The Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert museums are nearby, while also the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park are only a short stroll away. The Cadogan Hotel has keys to the Cadogan Park across the street. Only the people who live around the park have availability. This is a very coveted position to be in for Londoners!
Business guests are welcome to use the two interconnecting rooms for meetings which boast the latest business technology including WiFi. The adjoining meeting rooms can house a maximum of 70 delegates and are adorned with traditional decor, high ceilings and stained glass windows. With its own private entrance, trained and experienced staff on hand to help, The Cadogan is the perfect place for your next event.
The Cadogan is located in a prime area for dining out, with restaurants and bars all within close proximity. Then again, why not dine at The Cadogans own award-winning Mes Anges? This deluxe brasserie style restaurant serves international cuisine in elegant surroundings with chandeliers, original plasterwork and a Carrera marble Louis XVII fireplace.
At the Cadogan, you can also enjoy 24 hour room service, treat yourself to afternoon tea and light snacks in the Drawing room, or be waited on at the bar with a range of cocktails, bar snacks and finger-food. The Drawing Room delightfully retains many of the features that were present when Lillie Langtry resided at The Cadogan.
Guests at the Cadogan have access to the leafy gardens of Cadogan Place where there is a children's playground and tennis courts. The complimentary Cadogan Fitness Studio is fully equipped with modern cardiovascular technology and open 24 hours for your convenience.
Choose from contemporary cool or classic English, or savor the indiscretions of the past, with a stay in the sumptuous Oscar Wilde, Edward VII or Lille Langtry suites. Luxuriate in velvet-edged bouclé bedspreads, and slide between sumptuous duvets and crisp bed linen.
Among this period décor woven with a modern twist shines a battery of technology. Relax in front of multi-channel TV. Choose from their large DVD and CD library or plug in to the world through their modem and wireless Internet connection. Catch your voicemail on a choice of telephones.
