Adventure Inn is conveniently located about ten minutes from the San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and ten minutes from Central San Jose. We are a full-service Costa Rica hotel in the prestigious, up-scale neighborhood of Ciudad Cariari just east of the Wyndham Herradura and the Hilton DoubleTree.
All guest rooms have air-conditioning, you will probably find it unnecessary. San Jose, Costa Rica has been rated as having one of the world's best climates by National Geographic because we are in a large central valley a kilometer (3200 feet) above sea level. Adventure Inn guests enjoy a constant 22-26°C temperature (72-78°F) year-round.
Costa Rica has two seasons: the rainy season, which is from May until November, and the dry season, which is from December to April. In the rainy season, expect it to rain most days in the afternoon for a few hours, but rarely in the morning or at night. In the dry season it hardly rains at all. Some people prefer to travel to Costa Rica during the dry season, however the country is more green-looking in the rainy season and is therefore much more beautiful that time of year.
From Adventure Inn, catch glimpses of the distant green patchwork mountains to our north and south as you go for a peaceful walk through the lush parks, around the entertaining duck ponds and along the golf course past many elegant homes. Within walking distance of Adventure Inn are many restaurants, two casinos, a bowling alley, an upscale convenience store with an ATM, a souvenir store, convention venues, and the large new Mall Cariari and Cineplex Theatre.
Bustling San Jose, with its colorful Central Market, the pedestrian shopping area, museums, the zoo, the business district, and an exciting nightlife zone can be conveniently reached by car, taxi or plentiful public buses 24 hours/day.
After a day exploring smoldering volcanos, steamy rainforest canopies, thundering waterfalls or the action of nearby San Jose, you and the kids can relax and unwind in our solar-heated outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

Moon Glow Bar & Grill
At the Moon Glow, we have three distinct spaces that you can eat in; our main lounge, which is decorated with a unique balance between rustic and elegance with the Indian chief immortalized in the central Guanacaste Tree and hand-painted wall murals. If you don't want to be inside, eat in the open air beside our pool and Jacuzzi. Alternatively, you can sit at our bar and enjoy a range of national and international drinks. It's the perfect place to meet new friends or reconnect with old ones. Last but not least, we can't forget our highly qualified team of servers, who do their best to provide the best service possible. We are proud to say that we always receive excellent comments about the great service from all our staff.
Because of the wide diversity of international visitors to Costa Rica, we endeavor to satisfy the tastes of every palate, offering a menu with variety of options for everyone. Our menu consists of a fusion of authentic Costa Rican flavors, Mediterranean cuisine and the influence of Latin American and North American staple foods.
Our Chef, Aaron Solano Calderón began his gastronomical journey in 1999, working various positions at a restaurant and eventually settling in as a chef. Over the years, he began experimenting with mixing Mediterranean foods and his own flavors, and eventually created his own style of Mediterranean and Criole foods, which comes out in many of the dishes at the Moon Glow. Aaron, with his ample experience in the kitchen, will be happy to satisfy any special culinary demand and has made it his personal objective to deliver the best service and quality to our clients.
