Hotel BOOKQUET (Formerly Hotel Leonardo)
Prague, Czech Republic
The unique location in a place with a rich literary history and the romantic atmosphere of the Old Town led us to the idea of something new. That's why, after completing the renovation of the Hotel Leonardo, our hotel has a new name: BOOKQUET. An original combination of the English words BOOK a BOUQUET carries a book and a bouquet of flowers. An ideal new design for a place where literature and romance are combined.
We would like BOOKQUET to become a place with an authentic atmosphere for its guests, where the modern and elegant style fits perfectly with the long history of the hotel building and where books become the main motto. And that is why books, which we see as a symbol of education, art and relaxation, can be found literally at every turn in the hotel, just like bouquets of fresh flowers. All this contributes to the relaxed, cozy and romantic hotel atmosphere that our guests love so much and for which they regularly return to us.
Welcome to the hotel with a unique soul of books and the scent of flowers, where you will feel the literary spirit of romantic Prague firsthand. The boutique hotel BOOKQUET is located in the heart of the Old Town, just a few steps from the Charles Bridge. The historic center and all the sights are within walking distance from the hotel. The historic 15th-century hotel building with its unique genius loci hides sensitively renovated interiors in a modern style. The hotel has 82 rooms and suites, 3 meeting rooms, an exclusive fine dining restaurant led by Michelin-starred Chef Gal Ben Moshe and a picturesque courtyard where you will be completely hidden from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Let yourself be pampered while you take in the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and feel time slow down.

In the very heart of Old Prague, where every corner carries a story, BOOKQUET welcomes you with a cosy lobby and a charming courtyard patio. During the day, you can stop by our bar for a cup of fine coffee, a refreshing cocktail or a glass of wine – and enjoy light bites along with moments of peace and inspiration. As evening falls, the stage opens for PARZIVAL, an exclusive fine dining restaurant led by Michelin-starred Chef Gal Ben Moshe. His tasting menu unfolds like a story, each course a chapter, with wines adding depth and character to the experience. Find your own corner to pause – whether with a favourite book in the patio, or over an exceptional dinner that becomes an unforgettable chapter of your stay. Lobby Bar is open Monday - Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Parzival is named after a knight from a medieval epic who was looking for a perfection in the form of the Grail, and in our concept he seeks it in a taste. Chef Gal Ben Moshe does not cook according to the borders or traditions. He chooses ingredients from the places that shaped him, and creates combinations that seem unexpected and familiar at the same time. Each course has its own story, but he tells it quietly, without grand gestures — through the purity of the ingredients, the precision of the technique, and the small surprises that unfold only on the tongue. And all this in a dinning space that seems calm and pleasant.
Behind the story of Parzival stands Gal Ben Moshe — a chef who held a Michelin star for six years. And yet he does not come across as someone who wants to amaze, but rather as someone who has learned to be precise, perceptive, and willing to give each ingredient its own space. Each course is a chapter of his lifetime: a little bit of Tel Aviv, a little bit of London, a little bit of Berlin – all of the places that changed him. And maybe that's why Parzival feels so personal: because it's not a concept, but a person. Parzival is open for dinner by reservation only Wednesday - Saturday from 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
