Family Sailing is an all-inclusive sailing holiday. Yachts sail in a fleet of two to four vessels allowing guests to enjoy the most beautiful archipelagos of the Mediterranean Sea from the comfort of a modern luxury boat while at the same time providing fun and games for the children. This innovative concept offers a crewed sailing yacht designed with families or groups of friends in mind, with a separate boat exclusively for activities and sailing classes for the younger guests on board. This way while the adults will have a chance to explore and enjoy the best of the archipelago of Northern Sporades in peace, the children under the watchful eye of dedicated childcare professionals experience an adventure of their own having fun and navigating by themselves. The choice of boats, the attention given to each single detail, the short transfer times, the sheltered bays and the sailing (which we only do if the weather is pleasant and the wind just right) make for an unforgettable Family Sailing experience.

Embark and disembark: Skiathos Port.
Saturday
At 5pm after having met your skipper, the children will meet the Kid’s Club instructors and the journey begins, taking you down the south coast of Skiathos. Your first taste of Greek cuisine will be at a beach welcome dinner on Sklithry. You will spend your first night in the harbour.
Sunday
After a pleasant on-board breakfast, take your chance for a quick swim before we continue onto the uninhabited island of Tsougria. While the children enjoy some swimming and their first sailing lesson, the adults can enjoy the private beach which will be set up for you by the Family Sailing crew. In the shadow of the designer sunshades, your crew will serve drinks and snacks to you. In the afternoon, we will sail towards Skopelos where we will spend the night in the beautiful bay of Panormos. Dinner will be served on board and later for those brave enough, a swim in the colourful night-time water.
Monday
After breakfast, take your time exploring the south coast of Skopelos and having a morning swim. Lunch will be served aboard your yacht. In the afternoon we will sail to the picturesque marina at Steni Vala with crystal clear water. From there you will go on an excursion to the historic Chora of Alonissos with its incredible view of the coastline and pick which of the hidden taverns to have dinner in.
Tuesday
The day starts with a brief sail to reach the deserted island of Peristera where the children have a treasure hunt awaiting them. Adults are free to relax on the yacht or beach. For lunch the crew will set up a picnic. In the afternoon while the adults enjoy the beautiful waters of the Alonissos coast, the children will use up all their energy playing supervised on the inflatable waterslides and toys. For dinner you will enjoy a night under the stars in Tzortzi bay.
Wednesday
Your skipper will be up with the sun to start sailing towards Skopelos where you will awake to find scooters and quad bikes (or a car if you prefer) ready and waiting for you to explore the island’s bays and villages. In the evening you are free to make your way around the winding roads in the centre of Skopelos and have dinner at your leisure.
Thursday
This morning we will turn the bow of the yacht towards the southern coast of Alonissos for a final visit to the bays. After lunch we will sail to Limnonairi bay on the southern coast of Skopelos. Here you will enjoy a final Greek dinner followed by an evening of sirtaki, a traditional Greek dance.
Friday
Time to bid farewell to the peace of the Skopelos coast as we sail to the lively beaches of Skiathos with its music, water skiing and other water sports. Take one last good look at the Greek coast while enjoying a final aperitivo of pre-dinner drinks and nibbles. The crew will take you to the Skiathos port for a last evening out in the capital of the Sporades islands.
Saturday
All good things must come to an end, and so concludes your Family Sailing week. At 12 noon you disembark and checkout.

Food
Italian cuisine is always a crowd pleasr and we offer you a truly gastronomic experience made from the best ingredients and flavours with everything sourced fresh and in season. Dishes are prepared aboard and offer you a chance to sample traditional Italian cuisine with a touch of modernity to please even the most discerning of palates. You will be sent a form for you to specify your tastes and preferences before departure to ensure the meals are always delicious and to your liking. Children have a special menu designed with them in mind. Our professional crew will be ready at any time of the day to prepare a healthy snack or drink on request.
Activities for Children
There is a 14-meter boat dedicated to our younger sailors aged 5-14 with a skipper-cum-sailing coach and animators. Every morning after breakfast (the exact time depends on that day’s schedule) the kids will make their way to their boat to pass the day learning to sail and playing games. Children eat lunch and dinner and can even help preparing meals in the galley on their daytime boat. During the daily sailing transfers, they will also take turns co-steering the boat. Games and activities on board, in the sea and on the beach include water sports, exploring the islands, treasure hunts, board games and stories. *If the instructor feels a child is unable to participate comfortably in an activity involving swimming, swimming aids and buoyancy devices will be provided. Alternatively, the instructor may also suggest the child tries an alternative activity with the chef or hostess.

**Alcohol and spirits are included, subject to moderate consumption: 24 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of local spirits per boat per week.
