The Grand Hotel Angiolieri is a new five-star hotel situated on a peak overlooking the sea, along the splendid Sorrento Coast. History
The Grand Hotel Angiolieri has been recovered from an ancient roman villa of 100 BC, turned into a nunnery of the Clarisse order until the 16th century AC. The De Le Castelle family owned this property for a short time until the 17th century, when the building was turned over to the noble Cosenza family. Finally, around the 18th century, at the time of the “Grand Tour,” which brought the Sorrento coast to the international tourism stage, the villa was turned into a hotel. “L’Hotel Seiano,” amongst the first of its kind in Sorrento, became known for its marked sense of hospitality. In the 1950s the Hotel was partly used as a main stage of Dino Risi's movie "Pane, Amore e..." played by extraordinary actors such as Vittorio De Sica and Sofia Loren. A wise and careful, eight-year renovation gave birth to a unique 5-star hotel, characterized by clean architectural lines, where classic, modern and luxurious materials are skillfully combined. L'Accanto Restaurant

Standard The Standard Rooms are approximately 18 square meters each. They each have a window facing the garden or a picturesque panorama including the neighboring village of Vico Equense. Elegantly furnished, with Majolica of the famous Vietri artisans, they are equipped with separate or double beds (some Standard Rooms provide enough space to put a cot or a third bed). Some Standard Rooms are situated on the 6th floor and are characterized by a mansard roof and ceramic tile floors.
