Area points of interest

Florence, the city of art and culture, has created the Italian masterpieces of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Donatello. The Cathedral, the museums and private palaces offer highly attracting visits. Shopping in the center leads to the Via Tornabuoni and along the jewelry stores on the famous Ponte Vecchio.  Siena is a magical city with an air of antique and indescribable mystery that pervades the streets, piazzas and contrade (district). From Piazza del Campo, famous in the world for the horse race, the Palio, with the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia to the Duomo, to Santa Maria della Scala complex considered the third artistic pole of the city.  San Gimignano the medieval many-towered hilltop town only 23 Km far from the Canonica, presents an unforgettable Tuscan scene.
