Relais Villa L'Olmo lies in the famous Chianti countryside. It is only 10 km from Florence and the airport! It is also 5 km from the Motorway (A1) for Milan and Rome and teh speedway to Siena. The village of Impruneta is within a short walking distance! Public transport connects the Villa L'Olmo to Florence every 20 minutes. The apartment/suites and villas are part of a farm, where wine in the proper cellars and olive oil “extra vergine” in the proper presses are being produced even now, besides vegetables and fruits.
The whole property was built in 1500 as the summer residence of an important noble florentine family, named the "Davanzati". The property came into the present owner's family in 1700. Restoring: In order to maintain the priginal atmosphere and the Imprunetian lifestyle, the restoration works of the apartment/suites and villas took over 3 years. All the original structures as well as the character of the old rural aspects were preserved, not neglecting any of the modern services and comforts required by international guests through the third millennium.

If two bedrooms are used in the private cottages please note that the second double bedroom is situated on a loft over the living room area.
Private Farmhouse: Common pool and gardens, private courtyard paved in terracotta with a sitting area and barbecue. 2 or 3 double-bedrooms (or twin-bedded), 2 bathrooms, big living-room, big kitchen with a fire-place (fully equipped and dishwasher included), dining-corner, flat TV screen, WiFi Lan Internet connection throughout the whole property, direct phone, electronic safe, washing-machine, private court paved in Terracotta and with a covered sitting area with barbecue, big pool area with a sand beach (in common with the other Relais guests), independent heating system, air-conditioning in all bedrooms, parking.
Reception: At the reception the guests will find an e-mail service, rent of mountain bikes and mobile phones. The guests can buy the farm products and obtain any information concerning hints of the best restaurants, artisans, excursions and sight-seeing tours, to get a pleasant stay.
Restaurant:The property includes a typical restaurant with pizzeria, which is situated in a small stone house located in a beautiful wood. Meals are served in its garden during the summer months.
