Marignolle Relais & Charme(Florentine Hills)

The relais is surrounded by the typical scenery of the Florentine hills, with cypresses and cane-apple trees, broom bushes and pine trees, amongst the scents of lavender, rosemary, thyme and catmint. Almond and peach blossoms and the intense geranium colors, according to the season, complete the harmony of the landscape.
In a quiet and reserved location, a lovely pool with a large solarium, presenting deck chairs and sunning beds, is at guests’ disposal from May to October, assuring a relaxing and refreshing break from work or from touring amongst the beauties of the Tuscan land.
The relais and its parking lot are both fenced in. Access is permitted only through the automatic gate with a screen intercom, as privacy and safety are two prerogatives of our relais.
Breakfast is served gracefully and professionally in the large gazebo during the summer months. It may be a traditional continental breakfast with local jams, croissants, or home-made pies, or it may be American style, with scrambled eggs for all tastes, cheese and bacon, served in refined Florentine china dishes and silverware, making it feel like a Sunday morning family breakfast.
The relais presents six spacious very finely furnished double rooms, within a refined and comfortable environment, making your stay pleasant and relaxing. Each room is different from the others, both in its shape, its furniture and in its tapestry. Antique furniture, 19th century prints and a small ornament collection complete the refined atmosphere.
The air-conditioned, microclimatic and soundproofed rooms are supplied with satellite TV, direct telephone line and plugs for Internet connections. The built-in closets, being very large and very well equipped. The bathrooms have large mirrors and double built-in Carrara marble washbasins. The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a door and so is the shower. The precious “cabreuva vermelha” parquet floor gives the atmosphere a warm and welcoming touch.
The relais is designated to non smoking persons, thus the direction begs the clients to respect this rule. Pets are not accepted.

Foodies can try a "delicious experience" with cooking lessons with Ms. Paola, watching the preparation of traditional dishes and actively participating in making them using simple and genuine products and the right cooking method, the real secrets to Florentine culture. You can then try the dishes we made in the gazebo along with a nice glass of Chianti.

MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES
We suggest booking visits in advance, especially for some museums like the Galleria degli Uffizi, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Museo Nazionale del Bargello while the Musei di Palazzo Pitti, Galleria Palatina, the Royal apartments, the Boboli Gardens and Palazzo Vecchio can be booked during your stay; advanced booking will help you avoid entrance lines.
The museums that can be booked are the Cappella Brancacci, Museo dell'Opera di Santa Croce, and Opificio delle Pietre Dure as well as all the Basicilas and Florentine Renaissance buildings.
It is also possible to book visits with a Tourist Guide in the language of your choice.

We can book delicious dinners at the best restaurants or in typical trattorie and osterie in downtown Florence or in the Florentine hills, perfect for those who appreciate the exquisite culinary offerings of Tuscan cuisine. For those who don't want to leave the Relais, we can organize a simple snack or a delicious light dinner upon request or reserve a table at the famous Florentine trattoria "Bibe" located only 250 meters from the Relais and offers a free shuttle service for our customers.
