Villa Trattoria is a charming and simple Tuscan villa immersed in the woods in the foot hills of the Apennine mountains north of Florence. The old castle (about 650 sq. m) was carefully restored to leave traces of its original features, trying to obtain the elegant and warm and welcoming atmosphere of a countryside home. You can live with complete privacy at the villa with the swimming pool around back, surrounding gardens and private parking. The big and wonderful swimming pool with a nearby changing room and shower makes it easy to enjoy the Tuscan sun while a pergola gives a shaded area for relaxing and dining outdoors in the spring and summer.
The ideal location of the villa offers guests the chance to visit many major tourist destinations such as Florence and others in Tuscany. There are walkways and paths to explore on the property and mountain bike lovers can enjoy paths leading to the borders of Tuscany and beyond. For water sport lovers, there is sailing, windsurfing and canoeing at the nearby lake.
The villa has four levels.
Ground floor
A large entrance with fireplace, large living room with fireplace, small sitting room with satellite television, a bedroom and a bathroom.
Lower floor
Modern kitchen (two ovens, two dishwashers), small dining room with a large fireplace, laundry room (washing machine and ironing equipment), large dining room (seats 18 people) and toilet
First floor
One double bedroom (king-size bed) with own bathroom and 3 twin bed bedrooms, all with a basin in the room, one bathroom and wide room with a table.
Second floor
One double bedroom (king-size bed), 2 full-size bed bedrooms, 1 twin bed bedroom, all with their own bathroom and a play-room with a game table and a bed-settee with stairs leading to the tower.
On request 2 extra sleeps in a double sofa bed, extra charge.
