Relais Dell ‘Orologio - Pisa

Northwest Tuscany, Pisa, and Lucca, Italy

The Relais dell’Orologio is one of Pisa’s most exclusive hotels. Starting with the facility’s structure of a fourteenth century tower a team of architects, under the attentive eyes of the Office for Architectural Heritage, carried out careful and respectful renovation works. A prestigious and warm residence with twenty-one different rooms with refined and personalized furniture, two suites and two junior suites.

The various rooms, that still maintain a few elements of the original house, refer to the nineteenth century transformation of the building and offer elegant and comfortable accommodations. Extraordinary charming trimmings and rooms that respect the privacy of our guests.  Guests may enjoy the attic with its warm fireplace and library on cold winter evenings. On the back of the facility, there is a romantic garden for candlelit dinners set in a very beautiful surrounding.  The Relais dell’Orologio, fourteenth century tower home, is owned by Maria Luisa Bignardi who won the “Excellent 2004” award for Italian tourism.

A relaxing atmosphere only one hundred meters away from the Tower of Pisa in the heart of this university city. A prestigious and warm residence with twenty-one rooms all with refined and personalized furniture, two suites and two junior suites. The rooms all maintain elements of the original home.  All the rooms have satellite TV, telephone, heating, air conditioning and mini bar. The bathrooms have a shower stall or tub with shower and some rooms even have a jacuzzi. A small Spa-pool and a quiet tunning area are located in the garden.  Our guests are welcomed with the utmost of kindness and their privacy respected with discretion. Our staff is friendly and ready to satisfy all the needs that our guests may have.  This is an ideal location to reach the University grounds by foot and visit Pisa’s Historic Centre.

The Relais dell’Orologio’s Restaurant is an invitation to spend pleasant moments in an enchanting atmosphere: in the garden by candle light in the summer and in the attic by the warmth of the fireplace during the winter. The chef only uses ingredients of the territory to prepare simple and refined dishes. A residence of great prestige, with a family that manages it to keep this reputation up. Peace and romanticism, surrounded by the history of a small and proud age-old Sea-faring Republic: PISA
