Villa ll Rughio
Todi - Umbria
4 km from the village of San Venanzo - Todi is a 20 minute drive
Il Rughio is a charming 17th century country villa. It has been recently restored in its original style with original materials. It is llocated in the Umbrian hills between the historical towns of Todi and Perugia. The house is peacefully set in a secluded garden with a view of the beautiful Italian countryside. Vineyards, olive groves, sunflower fields, medieval villages, and castles are nestled amongst oak forests and rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
The interiors have been decorated with care to retain the style and ambience of the period. The ceilings are tiled and suspended with wooden beams and the floors are in terracotta. A beautiful lavender, rosemary and antique rose garden surround the villa and its immaculate kept lawn.
Il Rughio's olive grove is responsible for a good production of extra virgin olive oil which can be sampled at request. The swimming pool overlooks the expansive undulating valley and where one can enjoy the sight of the setting sun. The property is at 4 km from the small village of San Venanzo.
