Casa Nicolo Priuli (sister hotel to Palazzo Priuli and Palazzo Bembo)

Venice, Italy

Casa Nicolò Priuli offers its guests the unique opportunity to relive this moment of political passions, patriotism, and heroes and to sojourn in Venice surrounded by the stately elegance of a bygone era.

Dedicated to Count Nicolò Priuli, representative and Minister of Infant Education in the Repubblica Veneta , Casa Nicolò Priuli offers a richly appointed interior that re-creates the unmistakable ambience and elegance of the Romantic Age.

The comfortable rooms are stylishly furnished with original nineteenth-century pieces, Murano glass chandeliers, and rich textiles.  Each offers a private bathroom with a tub, individually regulated summer and winter climate control system, color satellite television, mini-bar, hair dryer, radio, safety deposit box, and a telephone with direct dialing and access for fax/modem.  In all of the rooms, no smoking is allowed.

Throughout Casa Nicolò Priuli, guests can also enjoy reproductions of the paintings in Venice's Correr museum depicting the events and leaders of the city's heroic fight for freedom in 1848.

An attentive staff is also available at all times to help guests plan and enjoy their sojourn in Venice.

Casa Nicolò Priuli is located in a quiet, residential area in the heart of historic Venice.  A short, five-minute walk from Saint Mark's Square, the "casa" offers easy access to many of Venice's spectacular art treasures, including the nearby Dalmatan school with its precious paintings by Vettore Carpaccio, the church of Saint George of the Greeks and the adjoining Museum of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Art, the church of Saint Zechariah with Giovanni Bellini's world-famous "Sacred Conversation", and the imposing church of Saints John and Paul.
