La Locandiera

The names “La Locandiera”, and the twinned “La Locandiera 1”, have taken inspiration from the famous and witty comedy by Goldoni. The two "Locandiere" are housed in a small XVII century palace on Campo San Giovanni Novo, a peaceful and perfectly typical Venetian Square. Opened in June 2004 our palace has been completely restored and refurbished, and is located just a few minutes away from St. Mark’s Square.
Location.
Located in Venice (Castello), La Locandiera is close to Galleria Stampalia, St. Mark's Basilica, and Rialto Bridge. Also nearby are Bridge of Sighs and Doge's Palace. La Locandiera is in the historic and artistic area of Venice, only 328 ft from the Basilica and Palazzo Ducale. the nearest vaporetto stop is San Zaccaria. The contemporary art expositions of Palazzo Grassi and Peggy Guggenheim Collection are also within walking distance.
