Locanda Al Leon is in the heart of Venice, in an ideal position for visiting St. Mark 's Square, the Ducal Palace, St. Mark 's Cathedral, Rialto Bridge etc. (just 200 meters away). Restaurants and exclusive shops are also close at hand. Casanova's Venice is revived in the atmosphere which is housed in a late 15th century building. During the patient work of restoration, close attention was paid to the details including soundproofing of the rooms . The simple refined furnishings create a welcoming and comfortable environment which is enlivened by the traditional warmth of Venetian hospitality.
All rooms are furnished in Venetian Style and with every modern comfort: private bathroom with shower and hair dryer, air conditioning, minibar, telephone, and television. There is a Bed and Breakfast room just a couple of doors down, as well, with it's own private entrance. This is a double room with large bed and bathroom and sitting area. Guests eat breakfast at the hotel.
Apartment Pinelli can sleep up to 4 people and offers 2 Double bedrooms in Venetian style, with 2 private bathrooms. A third bed can be added to one of the rooms. The 75-sq. meter apartment has a living room and fully equiped kitchen. It has its own private entrance (with just 12 steps) separate from the hotel, and is air conditioned and heated (depending on the season). Free Wi-Fi in the apartment.

There is a bedroom with a single bed and French double bed, a living room with double sofa sleeper, and a full bathroom. "The hotel was easy to find from the vaporetto stop and not a far walk. The staff was competent, courteous and most helpful. Since we were staying at the apartment, which ws some distance (equivalent of perhaps 3-4 blocks' walk) a hotel staff member went with us to show the way, to help with luggage and to explain how things in the apartment worked. The apartment itself was modern, clean and orderly, with a separate kitchen/dining area, and two separate bedrooms at each end of the hall. The bedrooms were quite spacious by European standards (normal by US standards) with one having its own bath and the other adjacent to a second bath in the hallway. The kitchen had a stove, refrigerator, TV and phone. There was daily maid service. The apartment had heating and AC"
