Palazzo Abadessa is situated in the heart of the lagoon city, in a very characteristic zone where you will feel the spontaneous urge to immerse yourself in the authentic Venetian atmosphere : just walk through the narrow streets and foundations and let yourself be transported by your instinct and your imagination.  Very near this luxurious Venetian relais you will find Ca' d'Oro, a splendid gothic style building overlooking The Grand Canal , which today houses the Giorgio Franchetti Art Gallery. 

Just a stone's throw away you will find Campo Santa Sofia, from where you can take the characteristic gondola-ferry that crosses the Grand Canal and that will bring you to the Rialto market in just a few minutes, the market takes place adjacent to the famous Bridge.  Another very typical zone that is not to be missed is the ancient Jewish Ghetto , a magical and suggestive place where there is a concentration of some characteristic bars and restaurants.

Arriving by Plane
From Venice's Marco Polo you have several possibilities for reaching Palazzo Abadessa: a private water taxi will take you to directly to the Hotel's private docking place;

If you take the "Venezia Air Terminal" direct bus you will arrive at Piazzale Roma. From there take steamboat number 1 and get out at the Ca' d'Oro stop, walk down the entire length of the street in front of the pier until you come to Strada Nuova. Turn right here and keep walking for approximately 20 metres: just before Campo Santa Sofia take a left for Calle Priuli. At number 4011 you will find a large green door that will lead you into the garden of Palazzo Abadessa;

If you take the Alilaguna motorboat get off at the Fondamente Nuove stop. From there take Salizzada degli Specchieri and proceed straight ahead, crossing all of Campo dei Gesuiti until you come to Fondamenta Zen: turn right, continue straight on for about 30 metres and pass the bridge on the left. Keep going straight ahead through Calle Zanardi and Ruga dei due Pozzi until you come to Fondamenta Priuli on the right, cross the first bridge on the left and there you will find Palazzo Abadessa;

Arriving by Car
You can park your car at the pier and take steamboat number 2 as far as Piazzale Roma or directly at Piazzale Roma. From there take steamboat number 1 and get out at the Ca' d'Oro stop, walk down the entire length of the street in front of the pier until you come to Strada Nuova. Turn right here and keep walking for approximately 20 metres: just before Campo Santa Sofia, take a left for Calle Priuli. At number 4011 you will find a large green door that will lead you into the garden of Palazzo Abadessa;

Arriving by Train
From the train Station you can reach Palazzo Abadessa by taking steamboat number 1 and getting out at the Ca' d'Oro stop, walk down the entire length of the street in front of the pier until you come to Strada Nuova. Turn right here and keep walking for approximately 20 metres: just before Campo Santa Sofia, take a left for Calle Priuli.
